The main market is anticipated to be in full swing with the start of December next week, while the secondary market is at a record high. Six firms are planned to make their market debut, while a total of fifteen IPOs (initial public offerings) are expected to hit Dalal Street.
According to the publicly accessible offer documents, these 15 businesses have raised a total of more than Rs 7,000 crore, including Rs 6,643 crore from three mainboard sector offers.
All three initial public offerings (IPOs) in the mainboard segment—Meesho, Aequs, and Vidya Wires—will follow the same timetable, starting on December 3 and ending on December 5. The largest IPO among these three firms is Meesho, an e-commerce platform sponsored by SoftBank and Elevation Capital. It raised Rs 5,421 crore through the sale of 10.55 crore shares by current shareholders and the issuing of new shares worth Rs 4,250 crore. The offer's price range is set at Rs 105–111 per share.
Aequs, a manufacturer of aerospace parts, wants to raise Rs 921.8 crore through a public offering at the top end of the Rs 118–124 per share price range. While founders and investors will sell 2.03 crore equity shares valued at Rs 251.8 crore through an offer-for-sale, it is raising Rs 670 crore through new shares. Vidya Wires, a Gujarati manufacturer of winding and conductivity products, plans to earn Rs 300 crore through its first public offering. This will be made up of an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 50.01 lakh shares for Rs 26 crore and a fresh issuance of Rs 274 crore. Each share is priced between Rs 48 and Rs 52.
With 12 IPOs valued at more than Rs 400 crore set to begin this week, the SME category would be busier than the mainboard area. Five public issues—Clear Secured Services, Speb Adhesives, Invicta Diagnostic, Ravelcare, and Astron Multigrain—will take place on December 1st. These deals will all be available till December 3.
