India destroys Pakistani drones and missiles that were launched at military sites.

The government claimed Thursday that Pakistan's attempts to increase tension with India by attacking military installations in 15 cities in the country's north and west, including Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and Gujarat, late last night and early this morning have been unsuccessful.

In response to Pakistani attempts to attack military installations in Srinagar, Pathankot, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, and other places, the government stated Indian forces targeted and neutralized Pakistani Air Defence Radars and systems in a number of areas, including Lahore.

The government emphasized this afternoon that the Indian forces' response was "in the same domain (and) with the same intensity" as the Pakistani attacks. India's air defense systems stopped the employment of drones and missiles by Pakistani forces.

News agency sources told India deployed the Russian-made S-400 defense system to knock down missiles targeted at its cities after using ANI HARPY drones to attack Pakistan's air defenses.
