Data from the depositories shows that in February, foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares in Indian stocks for a total of Rs 34,574 crore.


Amid growing global trade tensions and worries about corporate earnings growth, foreign investors withdrew Rs 34,574 crore from the Indian equity markets in February, bringing the total outflows to Rs 1.12 lakh crore in the first two months of 2025. Data from the depositories shows that in February, foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares in Indian stocks for a total of Rs 34,574 crore.


This followed a net withdrawal of Rs 78,027 crore for the whole month of January.
