Hindustan Zinc Q4 Results: Revenue up 20% YoY, net profit up 47% to ₹3,003 crore for the Vedanta-owned zinc manufacturer

Hindustan Zinc Q4 Results: Due to increased revenue, Vedanta group company Hindustan Zinc Ltd. announced on Friday a 47.3 increase in consolidated net profit at ₹3,003 crore for the quarter that ended in March 2025.


In the previous year, the third-largest zinc producer in the world reported a net profit of ₹2,038 crore.


In a filing to the BSE, HZL stated that the company's income for the most recent January-March quarter climbed to ₹9,314 crore from ₹7,822 crore during the same period last year.


"Best-ever fourth quarter profit after tax of ₹3,003 crore, up 47 per cent Y-o-Y" was the company's announcement. "As the world's largest integrated zinc producer, we aim to meet rising domestic demand while maintaining our position as one of the lowest-cost producers globally and most resilient producers in the industry," Arun Misra, the chief executive officer of the business, said The metals-to-oil conglomerate Vedanta owns the majority of Hindustan Zinc, which recently reported that its mined metal production for the March quarter reached a record high of 310 kilo tons.


75% of the domestic zinc market is controlled by the corporation. Silver, the company's second-largest business unit, saw a 24.1% gain in sales, while the zinc division saw a 20.6% increase.
