Following the IMD's heatwave warnings, shares of Coal India, Amber Enterprises, and Varun Beverages gain 9% on the hope of increased sales.

On March 6, the stock prices of companies that produce air conditioners, cool drinks, and electricity increased as investors anticipate higher sales over the impending summer. Following an exceptionally warm February, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) stated that it anticipates above-normal temperatures and heatwave days throughout India starting in March. This has caused stockpiles to rise sharply in recent days.
