As IndusInd Bank's share price plummets 27% to an almost five-year low, LIC loses ₹965 crore.

The share price collapse of IndusInd Bank caused a hole in the portfolio of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), the largest life insurer in India and a domestic institutional investor, costing the company close to ₹1,000 crore.
